What is Allantoin?
Allantoin is a naturally occurring compound found in humans, animals and many plants such as horse chestnut, beets, chamomile and comfrey. It is commonly used in skincare to reduce irritation and sensitivity.
Although allantoin may be less well known in the skincare world, this ingredient is great for hydrating the skin, and due to its calming properties, it can also be used by all skin types.
